Who we are
This website and its services are provided by Genia Academia ("we", "us"). By using the site you are contracting with Genia Academia, and by continuing to use it you agree to these terms.
Our services
We offer an online membership (a resource library, printable packs, weekly live classes and a practice tool) and paid 1-to-1 online tuition sessions. You must be of legal age to buy, or have a parent or guardian buy on your behalf.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details private and give accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Acceptable use
- No unlawful, fraudulent or abusive use, and no spam.
- No copying, reselling or sharing of member resources outside your own study.
- No attempts to break, probe, scrape or interfere with the site or its security.
- You are responsible for what you submit to the practice tool. Its suggestions can be wrong and are a study aid, not professional advice.
Intellectual property
The site, its lessons, packs, branding and software belong to Genia Academia. Membership gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own learning while your membership is active.
Payments and subscriptions
Payments are securely processed through Stripe. Checkout displays the applicable payment terms, taxes and total before you pay. Memberships renew automatically monthly or yearly until cancelled; cancellation keeps access until the paid period ends. The standalone GCSE Algebra course costs £198 for two calendar months and does not renew automatically. A full refund ends purchased access. See our Refund policy.
Service level
We work hard to keep everything running, but we do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error free. Class times may occasionally change.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end access for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, non-payment, or a security or fraud risk. You may delete your account at any time from the Members page.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties and liability for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the previous 12 months. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction.
